The Internet: Juliet, tell us about the Daily Art Project!
Sure thing Internet!
Everyday (almost) I will be creating an original art illustration on an A6 (105mm x 148mm) piece of paper. The daily art will be inspired by my current projects, which right now is the croissant, however it could be anything I find interesting at the time.
A limited amount of original art will be created per day, anywhere between 1-5 pieces, which will be available in my store - The Juliet Report Store - for anyone to purchase.
The idea behind the Daily Art Project is to help brighten up someones space and/or their day. We’re all at home so much more now, and I thought it would be nice for us to have something new to look at and to make our spaces a little more happier.
Each piece is priced at $20 (plus shipping to anywhere in Australia), which if you’ve bought original pieces before, you know this is quite affordable. I just wanted everyone to be able to afford a piece, either for themselves, or to send to someone they miss, or someone they know who could appreciate some snail mail.
There is no pre-purchasing or pre-ordering, as I want to keep it as fair as possible and open to anyone. Hopefully in the future I can organise a specific time for posting, but for now, as soon as a piece is finished it will be uploaded to the store immediately. Typically I’ll announce the new Daily Art via my instagram stories first.
Pieces that have been popular or requested by many, will be made as a standard item for purchase, at a slightly higher price point, but still quite affordable for an original piece.
