In this post we will be uncovering the mystery behind my croissant (kwassah) obsession.

Why do you love croissants?

Hah that’s a funny question.

It’s a bit awkward. Lol. Everyone thinks I’m obsessed with them.

I do like them. But this is more a creative project. My idea was to find the best croissant in Melbourne. And then I wanted to draw 100 croissants. Then realised that’s too many. So now the goal is 50.

I like exploring the same thing over and over again. And noticing the differences. It’s the same with my Aesop Hand Balm and Breakfast at Tiffany’s Book Projects.

I think it’s cool to follow the journey of items and people.

And now creating a new croissant with different mediums is just so fun to have to think up different ways to create it!

The idea is to stop when I reach the initial 50, and then explore a different item.

But I love anything French, and a croissant is such a simple joy.
