40! Thank you 💕

Thank you to everyone who sent messages, liked a post, or showed me love online. And a huge thank you to my IRL friends for the messages, the thoughtful gifts, the heartfelt cards, and the lists. I asked each of my birthday guests to bring me a list, and most of them entertained my strange little request. I’ve already started reading through them, and they’re bringing me so much joy.

It was the best party I’ve ever had. Turning 40 felt a little weird at first, not the getting older part, just getting used to the sound of the number. But I’m here, I’m happy, and I feel so lucky to have the people I have in my life. The community I’ve built here and around Melbourne is something I’m really proud of.

Endless love and thanks to Sam, my amazing boyfriend, who made the whole thing possible. I almost didn’t have a birthday cake, but he saved the day and made me the cake of my dreams.

We celebrated with bubbles, pizza, bows, lists, and so much love.
