STYLING SIDE NOTE

THE WARDROBE REPORT: INTRO

Why I’m beginning to document what I wear

I’ve been wanting to start this for a while, a space to draw and reflect on the things I wear and why I choose them.

It’s partly for myself. But maybe someone else might find it interesting too.

I don’t buy much. I’m not into overconsumption, not in clothes, not in anything. But I do love clothes. And I think dressing is important. It’s how we express ourselves. It’s part of being human.

A friend once told me: “Humans decorate the world.” And I’ve never forgotten that.

Most of my wardrobe is from Alpha60 — where I work — and that’s part of why I hesitated. It felt like too much of one thing. But now I think that might actually be the point. I want to explore what it means to wear mostly one brand, what it gives, what it limits, what I love about it.

So this is the start. I’ll be sharing how I style the pieces I own, how they make me feel, and what they mean to me, not as trends, but as a wardrobe lived in.
